SAVMI Safety Award

The SAVMI Board was so inspired by Winter Park Resort’s impressive stretch of more than 2,100 days without a reported violation that it created this award to honor those committed to a safe work environment. This award will be given to the resort with the longest stretch of consecutive days without a safety incident in their vehicle maintenance shop. The property must be a SAVMI member in order to be eligible.

The SAVMI Safety Award winner will be recognized and presented with a perpetual plaque at the SAVMI Awards Lunch on May 13, 2008.

For consideration of this award, please send the below information postmark no later than April 4, 2008:

• Resort Name
• Contact Information (Name, Title, Phone & e-mail address)
• Number of days with a safety violation or report incident. Please include first day, (the day the stretch started) and the day it ended (or if it is still going).
